MoST-5 AND MoST-10

MoST-5, MoST-10 Modular Tactical Shooting Ranges

Modular tactical shooting ranges

MoST modular tactical shooting ranges are enclosed facilities, designed to conduct a variety of shooting training for both uniformed services and individual customers. The shooting ranges are constructed from steel modules, delivered to any location and bolted together after being placed on a paved surface, with the object thus assembled not permanently attached to the ground. The total construction time of a shooting range, calculated from the moment of placing an order to putting the range into operation, is from 180 to 360 days, depending on the size of the facility.

The solutions used in the shooting range provide:

the ability to fire with ammunition with an initial projectile energy of up to 3,600J;

the ability to conduct shooting training from fixed and mobile lines of opening fire;

the ability to conduct training, tactical, sport and recreational shooting;

the ability to shoot in bursts with automatic weapons;

the possibility of shooting scenarios with the use of targets, strobe lighting, artificial fog and sound effects;

the possibility of creating so-called “shoot-house” rooms and shooting at a 180-degree angle using mobile shotguns located in the shooting hall;

the ability to dismantle and reassemble the shooting range in a new location and the ability to change the length of the range at any time during operation;

ventilation to guarantee the highest purity of air during shooting, including the elimination of lead concentrations to the limit of quantification;

air conditioning that maintains the right air temperature throughout the year;

Protection of the external environment by not emitting dust into the environment and low noise levels.

The MoST-5 and MoST-10 shooting ranges have a certificate of conformity issued by the Military Armament Technical Institute.

OFFERED TYPES OF SHOOTING RANGES

The shooting ranges are constructed of steel modules. When the modules are bolted together, a compact building is formed, in which, in addition to the shooting hall, additional rooms can be created, such as a control room, a medical aid station, a training room, sanitary facilities, a room for cleaning weapons, etc.

We offer eight sizes of shooting ranges that vary in width, length and height of the shooting hall:

MoST-5
MoST-10
  • MoST-5 shooting ranges with an inner width of 5 m, an inner height of 2.5 m and shooting axis lengths of 25 m, 50 m, 100 m and 200 m
  • MoST-10 shooting ranges with an inner width of 10 m, an inner height of 2.9 m and shooting axis lengths of 25 m, 50 m, 100 m and 200 m

The modular design of the shooting ranges allows the standard lengths for each size to be changed by increasing or decreasing the number of modules, according to the buyer’s wishes. The shooting range can also be disassembled and reassembled in another location at any time of operation.

CONSTRUCTION OF A SHOOTING RANGE

MoST shooting ranges are built with the following modules:

  • logistics module,
  • communication module,
  • station module,
  • shooting modules,
  • the bullet-shooting module,
  • ventilation module.

Modules exposed to gunfire are of welded frame construction, lined with suitable wear-resistant, bullet-piercing steel plates. The modules are delivered separately to the site, where they are set up on a leveled and hardened surface, and then bolted together. Once the modules are assembled into a cohesive unit, facade panels with adequate thermal and acoustic insulation are mounted to the side walls and to the top wall. After connecting the power supply and installing the appropriate equipment, the facility is ready for use.

Logistics module

This module serves as a shooting management station. It contains an instructor’s workstation with a preview monitor of the shooting hall and devices for controlling ventilation, lighting, sound system and other technical equipment. The module has an external entrance door and a bulletproof door in the wall between the logistics module and the communications module. The configuration of the module’s equipment can be made according to the customer’s request. It is also possible to add more logistics modules, which can serve the function of, for example, medical aid station, briefing room, checkroom, etc.

Communication module

This module provides communication between the logistics module and the station module. There is an “Air Wall” plenum chamber supplying fresh air to the shooting range. The module is lined inside with rubber anti-corrosive panels that are difficult to ignite.

Station module

In this module there are separate shooting positions, separated by removable partitions. Above each position there are ceiling lights and cameras. Next to each station is a panel for shield control. The module is lined internally with rubber anti-riquet panels that are difficult to ignite.

Shooting modules

Modules with a width of 2.5 meters connected to each other form a shooting hall, with shooting axis lengths of 25, 50, 100 and 200 meters. The modules are lined inside with rubber anti-riquet panels that are difficult to ignite. Upon request, mobile shotguns can be placed in the shooting hall. If these pellet guns are placed parallel to both side walls, it will be possible to fire the shooting hall at an angle of 180° except for anti-tank, tracer and incendiary shells.

Bullet module

This module is equipped with a granular culvert. This module also has upper and lower connection elements for the ventilation system. The module is lined inside with rubber anti-bullet hard-to-fire panels. The granular shotgun allows for about 100,000 shots on each shooting axis. After periodic cleaning, the pellet gun is reusable.

Ventilation module

The module is formed of two 2.5-m-wide modules joined together, in which a supply-exhaust recuperation unit and filtering equipment with air filters of 99.9% efficiency are located. In addition to a unique air filtration system, the supply and exhaust air handling unit supplying fresh air uses a two-stage heat recovery system in the form of a plate recuperator and heat pump. Thanks to these solutions, significant energy savings are achieved when heating the air in winter and cooling it in summer. Automation of the system used ensures that the parameters of the indoor air are kept constant throughout the year..

BALLISTIC EQUIPMENT

The state-of-the-art technical solutions used in the MoST shooting ranges make it possible to conduct both individual shooting training and training in pairs and task forces, freely configured according to the user’s needs. Thanks to the use of computer systems, ballistic equipment options allow the programming of various shooting task scenarios.

Ballistic equipment includes:

  • main bullet train,
  • rubber anti-bullet hard-to-fire panels,
  • moving target system (target transporter, turntable, elevator),
  • primary, tactical and emergency lighting,
